Peer Review Response

1. Hyperlink the Blogs you reviewed into your Blog

 https://grecojr01aed.blogspot.com/ and https://jenellegraap.blogspot.com/

2. When looking at Project #1: (Elements and Principles), did you agree with the element or principle the artist listed with the images? Did you see other elements and principles in the images?

I did agree with the element and principals that they listed with the photographs, especially the ones for movement and space. Not only did they represent the principals, but they were stunning to look at as well. I noticed some other elements and principals as well like color and space within a lot of them.  (https://jenellegraap.blogspot.com/)

3. When looking at Project #2: Where there any images in the Peer Blogs the same as your own? If yes, what were they? Where the reasons the image was selected the same or different as your own?

Yes, both people I responded to as well as myself chose "Dynamism of a Dog on a Leash" as a piece we found intriguing. Similarly, we all would like to know more about the piece. My reasons were slightly different because I also enjoy the piece because of the use of movement and how it makes me think of my grandma who has a print of the piece hanging in her house.

4. Where there any images that your Peers selected that pique your interest now? If yes, what are they and what is your connection with them? What would you want to know about them?

Yes, "Elements" by Samuel Levi Jones stood out to me because of the use of texture. They used deconstructed medical books on a canvas in this piece and I thought that was really unique and different. I'd like to know why they chose to do something like this and where they got the medical books from? Was there a reason they used medical books and not just any normal book?

5. What do you think about  the process of reading your peers reflection? Do you find this to be a valuable in your learning?

I think this is valuable in learning because it lets us see what other students are thinking as they do their assignments and as they observe artwork. It's cool to see how similar and different my answers and choices are from my peers.

6. Check your Blog and read comments posted by your Peers. Do you find their comments helpful?

Yes, and they mentioned that they also had chose the "Dynamism of a Dog on a Leash" and for almost the same reasons! It seems like everyone is drawn to that piece.
